Job Summary
Bear's Lair in Florence is hiring for the position of server. Must be available to work days during the week, evenings, weekends and some holidays. Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcohol and have at least 1 year experience in a full service dining restaurant.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus.
- Take food and drink orders accurately using the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our standards.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and kitchen.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of meals.
- Follow all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe dining environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, particularly in casual dining settings.
- Strong guest relations skills with an emphasis on providing outstanding service.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for processing payments.
- Experience with food handling practices to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
