What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transportation Manager position at Bear Valley Unified?
The job of "Transportation Manager" is done for the purpose/s of providing overall coverage of the transportation operations; meeting scheduling demands; assisting individuals in the performance of their functions; and resolving and/or recommending solutions to incidents, complaints and/or accidents.
Reviewing needed repairs and/or replacements on all District vehicles: ensuring the availability of vehicles in safe operating condition, organizing and operating an efficient cost-effective garage: and provide written documentation of repairs to meet district, state and federal requirements. The Transportation Manager shall assign tasks, train support staff, and recommend purchases of supplies and services.
