Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on a wide range of machinery and mobile equipment used in metal fabrication and assembly. This position also plays a key role in maintaining our facilities and contributing to a culture of safety and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on machinery including lasers, burn tables, presses, air compressors, CNC machines, forklifts, and manlifts
Diagnose equipment failures and improve preventative maintenance routines to reduce unplanned downtime
Complete and manage work orders promptly using internal systems
Uphold all safety standards, enforce lock-out/tag-out procedures, and ensure all safety devices are functioning properly
Perform general facilities maintenance, including plumbing, HVAC, garage doors, carpentry, and more
Mentor and support team members in the Maintenance Apprenticeship Program
Maintain a clean and organized workspace in alignment with our 5S CANDO program
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Technical certification in multi-craft maintenance or related field preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or Mechanic in a manufacturing environment
Experience with 3-phase power (480V), low-voltage circuits, and PLC troubleshooting is highly desirable
Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
Physical Requirements:
Frequent climbing, bending, twisting, and lifting of up to 55 lbs (occasionally up to 80 lbs)
Comfortable working in an active manufacturing environment
