Responsibilities
Fleet Management:
- Coordinate and document the basic maintenance of rental trucks and trailers (e.g., oil changes, tire rotations, greasing bearings).
- Manage the GPS accounts for all fleet vehicles and trailers.
- Conduct pre-departure inspections to confirm all vehicles, trailers, and hardware are in good working order.
- Inspect incoming vehicles and equipment upon return to the home office before their next deployment.
- Maintain troubleshooting and instructional documents for trailers and update as necessary.
- Ensure all trailers’ WiFi and video technology infrastructure is functional before deployment. Training provided.
- Test and inspect video cameras to ensure they are operational and have current firmware. Training provided.
- Work with traveling teams and managers to coordinate field oil changes and minor repairs.
- Assist Traveling Teams by loading trailers with equipment/parts required for project the truck/trailer are traveling to.
- Learn and provide basic technical assistance for wireless equipment installed in trailers.
- Collaborate with other technical managers to improve processes and create resources for field personnel.
- Ensure compliance with BearCom policies and procedures.
- Remain available to provide support for deployed systems and personnel.
- Take on additional projects or responsibilities as assigned.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Licensing: Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred but not required.
- Technical Skills:
- Technically adept with the ability to learn on the job.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software applications.
- Familiarity with RF technology is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong team collaboration and communication abilities.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift/move up to 60 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a variety of environments, including shop floors, office settings, event venues, and outdoor conditions.
- Other Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance.
- Must pass a drug screening, background check, and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
- Pay is $24.00hr
