As the Sr Manager, Financial Reporting and Analytics, you will coordinate and prepare internal and external financial statements and oversee regulatory reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Act as key contact and Subject Matter Expert (“SME”) for external financial reporting, management reporting, bank reporting and other supporting schedules and statements
- Assist with audit support and directly interface with external and internal audit teams as needed
- Assist with the annual budget process and periodic re-forecasts
- Assist with development of accounting policies
- Assist with the development of the Risk-Control-Matrix
- Assist with development of organizational risk assessment framework
- Assist with organizational change necessary to implement new accounting pronouncements
- Be curious and continually seek to improve process, reporting results and control environment
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills and effectively prioritizes competing responsibilities with minimal oversight
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with business partners and peers
- Own purchase accounting
- Own equity accounting including stock compensation and similar programs
- Own bonus accruals and coordination with HR team
- Own benefit plan accounting and coordination with HR team
- Own monthly, quarterly and annual analytical review process
- Own the accounting for goodwill, intangible assets and debt
- Own SOPs for areas of responsibility
- Partner with organizational stakeholders to streamline business processes and improve operating capability and reporting opportunities
- Participate on special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- ASC 606, ASC 810, ASC 805, ASC 710, ASC 842 experience required
- CPA required
- 8 years of finance experience required
- 4 years of public company/Sox or equivalent experience required
- SEC reporting or equivalent experience required
- Private Equity Industry experience preferred
- Manufacturing and/or Distribution experience preferred
