Quality Control Inspector (QC Inspector)

Beard Construction Group, LLC is seeking a QC Inspector to join our team. Candidates must have working experience in Civil Construction.

Candidates must meet or exceed the below requirements:

· Capability to understand heavy civil project drawings and specifications to assure the overall quality efforts are being met throughout construction.

· Knowledge in Concrete, Structural Steel, and Earth Work.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide general inspections on construction labor and subcontractor work to ensure a good and professional operation.

2. Monitor Quality Control and Assurance material field testing for concrete and earthwork.

3. Ensure the application of project specifications and the execution of plans.

4. Performance of on-site sure surveillance covering visual checks, and performance tests of installations and equipment.

5. Provide written progress, technical and special issues report.

6. Observe general project safety.

7. Work with the contractor on coordination of work.

8. Ability to write RFI’s and to help with Field Engineering is a plus for the right candidate.

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or Equivalent

· Working knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and material Ability to read, analyze, and interpret contract drawings and specifications

· Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload

· Ability to meet all assigned deadlines

· 3-5 years experience in related field

Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Quality Control Inspector: 3 years (Preferred)
• Civil Construction: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• TWIC Card (Preferred)
• OSHA CARD (basic plus) (Preferred)
• Security Passport (Preferred)
