Beard Construction Group, LLC, is seeking a Site Safety Representative to join our team. This position will report to Beard Construction Groups Safety Director and create, support, and audit our programs, reinforcing our commitment to safety.
Safety Supervisor will maximize safety performance and maintain a healthy work environment. This includes overseeing the inspection of all equipment, keeping employees informed of all safety programs, and facilitating compliance with all safety regulations. The ideal candidate will be capable of prioritizing tasks, working independently, and understanding that their role is vital to the success of this enterprise.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and corporate safety regulations.
- Monitor operator performance to ensure that production goals are being met safely.
- Ensure work is being executed as planned, problem-solve with operations and craft, recognize and correct unsafe working conditions, conduct field inspections, and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Establish training of supervisors and workers on various safety regulations and practices.
- Conduct regular walk-through inspections.
- Compile data, photographs, etc.; prepare all relevant forms and reports per program procedures and federal, state, and local accident regulations when necessary.
- Review documentation to ensure all required records and reports are complete, accurate, and submitted per established procedures, and implement appropriate corrective action as needed.
- Attend and participate in all pre-work meetings; this includes reviewing the day’s activities and the hazards associated with the work.
- Maintain and update required safety-related documentation on the project site, including, but not limited to, Site Safety Orientation, Job Safety Analysis, and conducts evaluations of specific safety programs or tasks.
- Assist in developing, reviewing, updating, and communicating the SSSP to everyone, including subcontractors.
- Exercise Stop Work Responsibility to ensure adherence to company policies
- Instruct employees on-site to use safe work practices in compliance with federal guidelines and company regulations.
- Monitor the performance of safety-critical tasks. Work with the Contractor to ensure proper safety best practices are being implemented.
- Represent the client's best interest in site health and safety.
- Conduct Safety Orientation for personnel as needed and perform additional assignments per Safety Directors' direction.

Pay: $35.00 - $39.00 per hour
