Job Summary
Supervises the FS: Maintenance Team throughout the entire life cycle of the water treatment facility’s operations, ensuring smooth function for the facility’s owner through proper maintenance techniques. The FS: Maintenance Supervisor must perform all essential duties satisfactorily and promptly while effectively managing personnel and project obligations.
Responsibilities And Duties
- Review proper maintenance techniques and requirements set forth by equipment manufacturers.
- Maintain maintenance logs for all process equipment, to be completed by yourself and field personnel, based on manufacturer requirements. Update log format as needed.
- Complete daily logs, detailing maintenance performed, and daily T&M tickets, indicating maintenance performed.
- Complete daily payroll for employees and self.
- Collaborate with Accounting personnel on required billing.
- Collaborate with Accounting personnel on cost coding of project expenses.
- Ordering and purchasing of materials required for maintenance.
- Manage and direct maintenance staff on daily maintenance activities.
- Responsible for personnel management, including tasks such as scheduling employees, payroll tracking and reporting, PTO approvals, and incident or accident reporting.
- Strive to meet and exceed plants expectations of down time during plant maintenance.
- Attend and participate in client maintenance meetings.
- Ordering, management, maintenance and inventory of department tools and equipment.
- Ordering, management, and inventory of required plant maintenance materials.
Leadership
- Act as a steward of Bearing culture and behave in a manner that sets a positive example for others to follow.
- Participates in job site safety activities, such as safety meetings and safety walks. Uphold and communicate Bearing Construction’s safety standards.
- Be proactive in your duties, self-starting and able to manage yourself, and take ownership of tasks from start to completion.
- Make daily decisions that enhance facility maintenance without sacrificing values or relationships.
- Grow and mentor future facilities services staff and fellow team members.
- Participates in business meetings and committees and builds and maintains effective relationships with project stakeholders.
Project Scheduling
- Coordinate with all parties to develop and maintain a detailed maintenance schedule and sequence for all process equipment and plant-required maintenance.
- Coordinate with all parties to mitigate conflicts involving the daily facility’s operations by obtaining required shutdowns, specialized materials, necessary staffing, or subcontractors.
Communication
- Demonstrates knowledge of contract documents, such as drawings, O&M manuals, equipment requirements, processing parameters, etc.
- Clearly communicates using a collaborative approach to share information between project stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain effective lines of communication with project stakeholders and ensure team members actively strive to do the same.

Physical Requirements
- Must be able to work in an indoor office environment and an active outdoor construction site environment.
- Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and work in confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment.
- Must be able to traverse irregular and steep terrain.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions and be exposed to dirt or dust.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment most of the day.
- Must be able to lift and carry 25lbs regularly and 50lbs occasionally.
- Must be able to work for long periods of time in front of a computer or while standing.
Salary : $70,000 - $95,000
