About Us :
Welcome to Beartooth Vision Center, a locally owned optometric practice in Billings, MT.
We are a busy and upbeat office located in the West End of Billings. Since opening in 2008, we’ve taken pride in being a friendly and trusted eyecare center for our patients. We are a great place to work.
What We're Looking For :
We are seeking a detail-oriented (key word!) insurance coder and biller to join our business.
This insurance billing role requires candidates to be self-starters, reliable, organized and (yes!) detail-oriented. You will be the go-to insurance resource in our office for patients and staff.
Prior medical billing experience preferred.
No nights or weekends! Our office is open Mon, Tue, Thur & Fri 8AM to 5PM and Wed from 9AM to 6PM.
Responsibilities :
- Authorizing insurance benefits for scheduled patients
- Submission of clean claims
- Verifying and posting of payments
- Follow-up with insurance companies for unpaid claims
- Patient communications
- If current on insurance duties, some variety in learning other office responsibilities
- Be personable, gracious, and willing to learn from mistakes
Qualifications :
Job Type : Full-time in-office
Wage : $20-$24 / hr DOE
