JOB SUMMARY:
As an Hourly Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, including both front of house (FOH) and back of house (BOH) areas. You will lead by example, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring that our high standards of quality, safety, cleanliness and staff morale are maintained.
Responsibilities:
FOH:
- Manage the dining area, including seating, serving, and cashiering
- Ensure prompt and courteous service to guests
- Monitor and control labor costs, sales, and customer satisfaction
- Train and develop FOH staff to provide exceptional service
- Maintain a clean and welcoming atmosphere for guests
BOH:
- Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality
- Manage inventory, ordering, and receiving of products
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Train and develop BOH staff to prepare high-quality dishes
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Shared Responsibilities:
- Assist with scheduling, staffing, and labor management
- Monitor and control inventory, supplies, and equipment
- Participate in marketing and promotional efforts
- Collaborate with the management team to achieve restaurant goals
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards
Requirements:
- 2 years of restaurant management experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
- Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling
- Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
Qualifications:
- Food preparation and cooking skills
- Experience in food service and handling
- Previous restaurant and kitchen experience
- Culinary background with knife skills
- Ability to plan menus and prepare meals
- Knowledge of dietary department operations
- Familiarity with catering and serving practices
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
