JOB SUMMARY:
As a Kitchen Steward at BEAST Craft BBQ Co., you play a crucial role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized dish area, ensuring all kitchen tools, plates, and cooking equipment are properly sanitized and ready for service. You'll also be responsible to help with prep or cooking as needed. This position is essential to delivering the high-quality dining experience our guests expect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, and utensils according to health and safety standards.
- Keep dishwashing station clean and organized, including changing water and cleaning dish machines regularly.
- Assist in maintaining kitchen cleanliness, including floors, trash removal, and storage areas.
- Work quickly and efficiently to keep up with restaurant service demands.
- Handle and store clean dishes properly to prevent contamination.
- Assist with basic food prep and kitchen tasks as needed.
- Follow all restaurant safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Support the kitchen team with additional duties as assigned.
***Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Pay: $18-$25/hr ($15/hr tips)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
