In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods across regional routes. You'll receive comprehensive training and support to ensure you feel confident behind the wheel. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer within regional routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and deliveries via electronic logging systems.
- Work closely with dispatchers to ensure timely deliveries and communication.
- Comply with all federal and state transportation regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Handle and secure freight properly according to company protocols.
- Must have attended and graduated from an accredited truck driving school with at least 120 hours.
- Must be 21 with Valid Class A CDL
- Must have a fairly clean driving record with no major accidents, major tickets, or suspensions within the past 5 years.
- Cannot have been terminated from last job due to safety concerns.
- No DUI's Felonies, Misdemeanors in the last 5 years. Safety to review all criminal offenses.
- Must have solid 10-year work history with no major gaps of unemployment.
- Must be able to pass a Urine AND HAIR pre-employment drug screen.
- Trainees are paid $650/week for 4-6 weeks (if under 6 months experience)
- .56 - .64 a mile depending on experience
- $15 stop pay.
- $1100 - $1500 depending on experience.
- .06 per mile monthly bonus for over 9200 miles driven, no accidents, fuel at 7 MPG.
