What are the responsibilities and job description for the Class A Local Intermodal Driver position at Beast Mode Truckin?
We are currently looking for qualified drivers who have at least 6 months of verifiable driving experience to manage our intermodal account in the dynamic city of Chicago, IL. This position includes the exceptional advantage of 100% No Touch Freight. Moreover, you will benefit from daily home time, enabling you to return home to your family and rejuvenate each day!
- Driving lane covers the North Central Region
- Involves multiple stops in intermodal trailers
- Day and night driving will be required
- 5-day work week with 2 days off and HOME DAILY!!!
- Day and night shifts are available
- Approximately 1800 miles driven weekly
- Operations run 7 days a week, so weekend work will be needed.
- Must be 21 with Valid Class A CDL with at least 6 months’ recent CDL experience.
- Must have fairly clean driving record with no major accidents, major tickets, or suspensions within the past 5 years.
- Cannot have been terminated from last job.
- No DUI's Felonies, Misdemeanors in the last 5 years. All criminal records are reviewed by safety.
- Must have solid 10-year work history with no major gaps of employment outside of school or training. 6 months in the last year and 1 year in the last 3 years max.
- Must be able to pass a Urine AND HAIR pre-employment drug screen.
- Must live within 25 miles of Chicago, IL
- Pay is .62 mile
- Night differential of .06 per mile. Weekend differential of .12 per mile.
- $20 per loaded dispatch.
- $1200 week average
