Ideal Tool & Mfg is looking for a highly motivated Operations Supervisor to lead our machine shop production, quality control, and process efficiency efforts .

What You’ll Do
Oversee daily machine shop production to ensure efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery
Supervise and lead the production team , fostering a team-oriented culture
Implement and maintain quality control standards , including Zeiss CMM programming (willing to train)
Ensure proper CNC mill and lathe setup and operation , optimizing workflow
Program and troubleshoot CNC machines (Okuma experience is a plus)
Work with management to develop and execute production goals
Be a liaison between the production floor and management , ensuring clear communication and execution
Maintain a high standard of machine shop efficiency, safety, and organization
What We’re Looking For
5-10 years of experience in CNC machining & manufacturing leadership
Strong background in CNC Mill & Lathe programming (Okuma experience is a plus)
Fluent in Horizontal Mill, Vertical Mill, and Live Tool Lathe setup & operation
Hands-on experience with machining processes and production scheduling
Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Mastercam, and Surfcam proficiency
Results-driven, motivated leader who thrives under deadlines
Ability to lead and develop a strong production team
Willingness to put in the time needed to meet customer demands (this is NOT a 40-hour week job)
Eager to learn and implement Zeiss CMM programming for quality control
