Dispatcher/ Customer Service

Job Title: Customer Service/Dispatcher

Full Time: Monday- Friday

Scheduled hours: 8a.m- 4:30p.m

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service/Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be to provide exceptional customer service, manage incoming service requests, coordinate and efficiently dispatch all Tank wagon loads while ensuring that Beaudry Oil & Propane complies with State and Federal Laws This position will oversee our company trucks' day-to-day operations and deliveries while monitoring driver hours This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a customer-first attitude.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor truck locations and driving efficiencies with GPS tracking
• Manage driver hours
• Take phone calls with excellent customer service
• Requesting PO information from customers
• Maintaining responsibility for dispatching all trucks in a manner that maximizes efficiency and ensures customer satisfaction
• Answering calls from customers and assessing their needs
• Providing exceptional customer service to customers at all times
• Following up with customers to ensure satisfaction
• Performing office clerical work, such as filing and organizing
• Working as a team player and contributing to the team accordingly
• Interdepartmental dispatching
• Performing other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in dispatching preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work flexible hours
