About the Organization Beaufort Memorial, a not-for-profit hospital founded in 1944 on the banks of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway, is licensed for 201 beds (169 acute, 14 rehabilitation and 18 mental health). Responsible for end to end management of people, processes and systems supporting Beaufort Memorial Hospital Patient Revenue Cycle. Provide leadership through both line and matrix organizational structures supporting the revenue cycle. Provide and share with managers and staff subject matter expertise related to the development of a compliant, comprehensive revenue cycle. Work with revenue cycle managers and hospital department leaders to develop a collaborative strategy as well as infrastructure to operationalize the strategy. Manage and maintain priority issues for escalation to the Controller and CFO. Build a high performance team achieving operational excellence in key performance metrics, and optimize patient service revenues assuring compliance with internal policies and State and Federal regulations through the management of patient access, authorization, scheduling, patient financial services, cashiering, patient advocacy and denials departments.

Position Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration. Master's Degree preferred. Or Bachelor's Degree in other related field and 3 years of experience with 1 year of supervisory experience required.

Experience:

• At least 5 years of hospital revenue cycle experience preferred. One year of supervisory experience preferred

Certifications/Licenses:

• HFMA/MGMA or CPA certifications/licenses desired
