Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, assists in delivery of nursing care. Serves as an integral resource in implementing clinical and technical aspects of care. Is attuned to the individual needs of assigned patients and modifies approach to care based on patient needs.
Position RequirementsEducation:
- High school graduate or equivalent prefered.
Experience:
- Six (6) months hospital or related heatlh care experience preferred. Experience with phlebotomy an d12-lead EKG preferred.
Certifications/Licenses:
- First Responder, EMT, Paramedic or CNA certification required.
- BLS certification required prior to first clinical shift (must be issued by the American Heart Association).
