Position Systems Analyst (Clinical)- Information Systems Location Beaufort Memorial Hospital Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Shift Days Exempt/Non-Exempt Exempt Description The Clinical Information Systems Analyst is responsible for organizing and directing the implementation and support of new and existing clinical information systems (i.e., Laboratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Order Communications, etc.). The Clinical Analyst shares the responsibility with clinical departments for optimal use of supported systems, including all planning, troubleshooting, testing, training and understanding the
MEDITECH modules and other hospital software. The C linical Analyst must be knowledgeable of all hospital systems and how they relate to each other. Strong communication and project management skills are required. The position must be able to be a team leader and oversee all aspects of implementation and upgrade projects. The position functions a consultant to the hospital staff to utilize the system effectively to

Education:
- Preferred BS/BA degree in a licensed/registered health care field (registered nurse, pharmacist, medical technologist, radiology technologist, physical/occupational therapist, etc.) or in a systems support field computer science, business or health-related field.
- At least three years in an analyst position OR equivalent years of healthcare information systems and operations experience.
Experience:
- Prefer strong computer experience in a medical field and information systems.
- Possess project management and staff management skills.
- Thorough understanding of supported departments operations.
- Demonstrated organizational, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Broad conceptual and detailed technical knowledge of supported systems. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are required.
