Responsibilities:
- Implement a school health program that addresses the physical, emotional, and social needs of students.
- Develop and maintain nursing policies and procedures for emergency situations.
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support students with special needs.
- Provide health education and counseling to students on topics such as nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention.
- Administer medications and provide first aid as needed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student health records.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student health concerns.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree (AA) or Bachelor's degree (BSN) in nursing.
- Minimum of two years' experience in nursing.
- SC Registered Nursing Licensure.
- CPR certification.
