LIBRARY SPECIALIST (Port Royal): Performs a wide range of Library duties including circulation activities, assisting customers in finding information, and plans and conducts Library programs. Responsibilities include processing incoming and outgoing library materials, collecting payments, creating and updating patron records, placing materials on hold, communicating library policies and procedures, performing inventory checks, and maintaining library equipment.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Associate degree or two-year technical certificate
• One (1) year of related library and customer service work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Up to date computer skills
• Basic communication, comprehension and math skills required
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s licensePosition Open Until Filled

Management reserves the right to transfer employees from one location to another within the county at any time based on business need. Employees will be given as much notice as possible prior to a change in work location.
