Role Description
This is a full-time on-site leadership role for an Aircraft Rescue Firefighting Chief located in the Hilton Head Island, South Carolina Area. The Chief will be responsible for building a strong team as part of the Airport Family, leading day-to-day operations of the Aircraft Rescue Firefighting unit, coordinating emergency responses, conducting training exercises, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience in Emergency Management, Security Management, and Investigation
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Certification in Aircraft Rescue Firefighting (ARFF) is strongly
- preferred
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
- Experience in a similar role in a military or civilian airport setting
