GIS Analyst I:
SUMMARY: Under supervision of the GIS Supervisor/Manager, the GIS Analyst oversees data collection and processing through ArcGIS Online web maps and apps, prepares dataset and map submittals for contractors and the public, manages SC811 data transfer, performs and manages dataset quality improvements, diagnoses and troubleshoots GIS software throughout the GIS workgroup, contractors, and the company, reviews work products of other technical staff, maintains effective working relationships with BJWSA employees, community members, and appropriate others in support of assigned duties.
Salary Range: $29.06 - $43.59 per hour
GIS Analyst II:
SUMMARY: Under direction of the GIS Supervisor, the Senior GIS Analyst conducts advanced analyses of spatial data in support of executive management goals, serves as technical lead for web-based GIS products for BJWSA staff and the general public, produces web maps, dashboards and apps in ArcGIS Portal and Geocortex applications, manages and maintains BJWSA’s GIS data layers to support day-to-day operations and significant GIS applications within the organization, develops workflows, models, and scripts expressing the results of analytical processes, coordinates internal team members in the completion of spatial data collection projects and reviews work products of other technical staff, diagnoses and troubleshoots GIS software throughout the GIS workgroup, contractors, and the company, maintains effective working relationships with BJWSA employees, community members, and appropriate others in support of assigned duties.
Salary Range: $33.42 - $50.13 per hour
