Description
Under the direct supervision of the Cardiovascular Services Manager and the charge nurse, assists physicians in an invasive procedure arena, specializing in the care of patients undergoing basic diagnostic and interventional procedures. Responsibilities include but not limited to operating the physical and radiologic equipment in a safe and efficient manner, maintain high standards to achieve quality patient care and keeping critical skills current. Understanding that health care delivery is continually evolving, and departmental needs and goals are subject to change, responsibilities may be expanded or restricted at the discretion of the Department Director.
Position Requirements
EDUCATION :
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred, currently enrolled in an accredited school for Radiology Technologists with successful completion of required courses for student licensure and current student license.
EXPERIENCE :
