A part time or full time DENTAL ASSISTANT position with a progressive fully digital dental office is available. EDDA certification is not necessary. Willingness to be a team player and a positive attitude is necessary for a successful candidate. Experience or willingness to learn front desk duties is an asset.
Summary
As a Dental Assistant, you will be integral to the dental team, providing essential chairside support and ensuring a smooth workflow in the clinic. Your core skills in general dentistry, dental terminology, and aseptic techniques will be vital in assisting with various procedures. With premium skills in Eaglesoft or equivalent systems and X-ray, you will manage patient records and imaging efficiently. Additionally, previous experience with dental implant surgeries are an asset.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during procedures by providing chairside support and managing instruments.
- Utilize dental terminology and knowledge of anatomy to facilitate patient care.
- Operate 3D scanners and perform X-rays as needed, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using EMR systems like Dentrix or Eaglesoft.
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and assist with scheduling appointments.
- Uphold aseptic techniques and ensure a clean, safe environment for all dental procedures.
