Responsibilities: (Bilingual Required for this position)

  • Answer all calls in a timely manner by appropriately identifying yourself and the practice name
  • Follow all HIPAA when answering/conducting calls
  • Listen and assist the caller in the appropriate tone and manner
  • Schedule appointments with the providers according to practice and provider standards
  • Enter appointment-specific details into our EMR system
  • Effectively communicate all appointment requirements
  • Route telephone messages to correct providers with detailed patient information and requests
  • Train or assist with training new telephone operators in the performance of job duties
  • Most importantly maintain a professional and positive attitude with coworkers and patients

Qualifications:

  • Critical thinking skills
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to type a minimum of 40WPM
  • Knowledge of EMR and/or EcW system preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
