We are looking for a Part time Security Guard (Sundays 12:30 am to 9:00 am, and additional shifts based upon availability - Weekend & Holiday work are required).

BASIC FUNCTION:
The primary purpose of your job position is to maintain the security, safety, and well being of Beaumont's residents and their guests.JOB FUNCTIONS:
Answer telephones promptly and professionally, transfer calls, take accurate messages, and relay messages to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
Accept and document daily absence call outs for employees (if their supervisor or department head is unavailable) and relay employee messages to supervisors.
Responsible for resident emergency alarm and fire alarm system procedures for residents, quests and employees.
Lock and unlock all non-essential doors at a scheduled time.
Responsible for keeping track of the master keys. This includes signing in and out in the logbook when they are in each officers' possession.
Turn non-essential lighting on/off at a scheduled time.
Transport employees to and from designated public transportation stops.
Transport Dining Services personnel delivering meals to the villas.
Pick-up empty meal trays from apartments and villas. Patrol apartment buildings on a routine basis.
Patrol outside areas on a routine basis. Report parking problems that occur.
Write up incident reports for any unusual occurrence.
Comply with any reasonable resident request. Distribute Beaumont literature to the message boxes. Record UPS, Federal Express and other package deliveries for residents and staff.
Direct residents and guests to appropriate departments.
Maintain the supply of necessary forms, i.e. Resident Away Forms, Access Forms, Employee Applications, Change of Address Forms, Postage Request Forms, etc., at the front desk.
Interface in a professional and friendly manner with visitors, guests, residents and employee. Additional duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must be 21 or older. High school graduate or equivalent.
Valid PA driver's license with a clear driving record (preferably CDL)
Must have a pleasant and professional telephone manner and work efficiently under stressful situations.
Flexible for shift changes.
