If you answered yes to any of those questions, this posting is for you. We are hiring for an intake specialist at our Beckley office. Intake specialists are the first face clients meet. They work with clients of all ages, races, genders, religions, and sexuality. Duties include: meeting with clients for the first time, take a detailed multi-faceted history, gathering information specific to a DSM 5 TR diagnosis, review and conduct basic assessments, document client history in a clear, chronological, and concise manner that supports the diagnosis and clarifies any historical reports, enter chart and clinical notes for all contact, check chart for appropriate forms and consents, develop a measurable and specific treatment plan, scan and upload assessments, and maintain structure in the initial assessment interview. The ideal candidate must have highly effective written and verbal communication, be organized, detail oriented, personable, open and receptive to feedback, calm under pressure and prove ability to meet timelines, knowledgable on DSM 5 TR diagnoses or learns quickly about `diagnostic criteria, prove medical necessity through written documentation practices, and thoroughly support the diagnosis through documentation practices. Other duties include answering the phones, screening potential clients, entering information in the EHR, and helping with other administrative tasks. Must be willing and able to work as a team, prove commitment to attendance, show commitment to our clients by proving attendance standards, be friendly and warm, be able to work independently when needed, be motivated, have reliable internet and phone service, have reliable transportation, and effectively meet paperwork deadlines. Schedule is Monday-Friday 9AM-6PM. Must be able to pass background check, CPS check, and drug test. MUST have a bachelors degree in SOCIAL WORK, COUNSELING, PSYCHOLOGY, HUMAN SERVICES, SOCIOLOGY, or a BSN (Bachelors of Science in Nursing).
