Location Requirement: Must be based in Chicago, IL.

Position Type: Internship (Trial Period)
This is an unpaid internship for a trial period, designed to assess fit and collaboration within our team. Successful candidates who demonstrate exceptional skills, creativity, and alignment with Beauty and Brains’ mission will have the opportunity to transition into a long-term, high-earning role with leadership potential.

We are seeking a talented, creative, and driven Graphic Designer & Social Media Manager to join our team. This dual-role offers the unique opportunity to shape Beauty and Brains’ visual identity while driving our social media strategy to inspire and connect with our community.
What You'll Do:
As a Graphic Designer & Social Media Manager, you will:
1) Graphic Design:
- Create visually compelling and on-brand graphics for social media, event promotions, and digital campaigns.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure brand consistency across all visual assets.
2) Social Media Management:
- Develop and execute creative strategies to grow Beauty and Brains’ social media presence on platforms like Instagram, Etsy, Pinterest, and TikTok/Youtube.
- Manage the content calendar, posting schedule, and community engagement.
- Analyze performance metrics and use insights to optimize strategies.
3) Collaborative Engagement:
- Work closely with the team to brainstorm and execute innovative campaigns that resonate with our audience.
- Occasionally attend in-person networking and bonding events to capture content and connect with the team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
- Someone genuinely fascinated by and passionate about social media, brand image, and aesthetics.
- Strong understanding of social media trends, analytics, and engagement strategies.
- Chicago-based and available for occasional in-person events.
- Passion for Beauty and Brains’ mission and a strong sense of sisterhood.
- A creative, innovative thinker who is eager to grow with the team and contribute to our brand’s evolution.
