Responsibilities
As a key member of the Data Science team, the Associate Director will have strong hands-on individual contributor experience, with people coach experience on the career progression roadmap. They will be accountable for developing and delivering data driven solutions across the entire analytical spectrum (descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive).
They will provide subject matter expertise on all things data and analytics to internal as well as external stakeholders, by developing compelling actionable insights through quantitative analysis and innovative thinking. The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for mentorship and be excited to participate in the professional development of our high performing junior team members.
Compensation Range
$120,000—$150,000 USD
This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.

- Advising internal and external stakeholders in choosing the appropriate data and analytical techniques to answer open-ended questions
- Partnering with client and agency media planning teams to support end-to-end audience strategy by onboarding the data sources, leveraging advanced ML techniques to build, scale and deploy audiences across various platforms/ publishers
- Developing analyses and data science utilities within data clean rooms such as Google ADH, Facebook Advanced Analytics, Amazon Marketing Cloud, and LiveRamp Safe Haven to support our clients’ media and commercial strategy
- Partnering with media planning and activation teams to lead the design and setup of A/B tests using best in class DOE practices
- Designing tech infrastructure and data pipelines (ETL, data automation, data querying, etc.)
- Partnering with retail and media platform partners in the development of new, industry leading workflows for data collaboration
- Elevate our Data Science practice by continuously evolving our algorithmic approach to audience, and media investment optimization by utilizing industry research and cutting-edge technologies
- Ensure that data science deliverables have measurable business impact for our clients
- Hands-on experience in implementing ML techniques for segmentation, predictive modeling, association rules, state transitions and other applications
- Proficient in SQL, Python (including pandas, numpy, sklearn, matplotlib) or R
- Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, GCP)
- Working knowledge of database design, data modeling and ETL process
- Expert problem solver with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable leading presentations that articulate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences alike
- Excellent project management skills with an ability to set and achieve goals, meet deadlines and act with a strong sense of urgency without compromising executional excellence
- Working knowledge of AdTech and MarTech platforms/solutions is preferred: Programmatic marketplace, CRM onboarding, identity resolution solutions, clean rooms, etc.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous situations
- 6 years of overall work experience, with at least 4 years of experience in a data science role
- An advanced degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, engineering, information management, social sciences, or business/marketing related fields
- AdTech or consulting experience preferred
