THE JOB
As an Assistant Media Planner you’ll work closely with a team of media experts in developing and maintaining media plans, while absorbing as much media knowledge as possible.
Responsibilities include :
- Assisting in the development and execution of the media plan
- Gathering and compiling data to support the media recommendation, including running syndicated research on the consumer
- Updating media planning documents for client usage
- Communicating and collaborating with internal activation and digital teams
- Collecting competitive research and preparing reports
- Preparing media buy authorizations
- Monitoring media expenditures to ensure agency and client budget compliance
- Developing filmmaker presentations on Keynote
- Updating vendor trafficking sheets
- Sending, requesting and filing all digital insertion orders for a campaign
- Identifying and troubleshooting missing and incomplete invoices that are needed for billing
- Working with the billing coordinator to match Insertion Orders
- Monitoring tag assets to ensure the most current linking and creative are assigned
- Compiling and filing campaign screenshots
- Pulling digital reporting and supporting team members in gathering accountable learnings to be delivered to client
- Keeping abreast of industry trends through advertising and media trade journals
