Position Overview:
Beauty&Hair is seeking a motivated Full Stack Web Developer with at least 2 years of experience and a strong focus on front-end design. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating visually appealing, user-friendly web sites, applications and a keen eye for design. This role will involve working closely with our creative design, marketing and development teams to create seamless, engaging user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams to implement attractive and intuitive user interfaces.
- Develop and maintain responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring top technical performance of UI/UX designs.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across various browsers and devices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and practices.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in web development with a strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks.
- Basic knowledge of back-end development (e.g., Node.js, Express ) and database technologies (e.g., SQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with version control systems and proficiency in using command-line interfaces.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience working with a custom theme and/or the Storefront API
- Working knowledge of Shopify's theming system and Liquid templating
- Awareness of user-centric design principles and experience in creating visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces.
- Experience with responsive and mobile-first design.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
