We are seeking a full-time Receiving Supervisor who will make a difference in our daily operations. The Receiving Supervisor will be working in the warehouse performing various activities in the operations environment. This employee will help facilitate the timely receipt of goods from vendors, ensure shipments are taken to the correct department, products are put away in a timely manner, replenishment of inventory is done daily, and other tasks as needed. This position requires the ability to work with other departments to carry out daily and other operational activities.
Key Responsibilities (other duties as assigned)
- Receive and organize inbound shipments.
- Stock and reconcile PO’s
- Help organize the warehouse to continually improve product flow.
- Daily housekeeping and process maintenance.
- Using various computer programs to carry out objectives.
- Train receiving team on new processes, coach when needed, and help motivate where needed.
- Meet frequently (at least monthly) with each team member to individually mentor and guide.
- Conduct daily standup meetings with team, focusing on daily objectives and concerns.
- Provide feedback to management and others regarding performance, issues, and concerns.
- Be the champion of improvement and changes to more effectively carry out work.
- Help ensure a safe and secure work environment for all team members.
- Assist other departments as needed.
- Communicate with other departments on issues and concerns
