Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Dog Bather. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality bathing and grooming services to dogs of various breeds and sizes. Your attention to detail and love for animals will ensure that each pet leaves feeling clean, fresh, and happy. This position requires a commitment to animal welfare and the ability to handle dogs in a safe and gentle manner.

Responsibilities

• Bathe dogs using appropriate shampoos and conditioners based on their coat type and skin condition.
• Dry dogs thoroughly using towels or blow dryers, ensuring their comfort throughout the process.
• Inspect dogs for any skin issues, parasites, or abnormalities during bathing and report findings to the management.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bathing area, including washing towels and cleaning equipment after each use.
• Provide basic grooming services such as nail trimming and ear cleaning as needed.
• Ensure all pets are handled safely and with care, employing proper animal restraint techniques when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's needs and any observations made during the bathing process.

Experience

• Previous experience in a kennel, veterinary setting, or as a pet sitter is preferred but not required.
• Skills in animal handling, including restraint techniques for various dog breeds.
• Familiarity with grooming tools and products is advantageous.
• Experience as a veterinary technician or assistant is a plus but not mandatory.
• A genuine love for animals and commitment to providing excellent pet care is essential.

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
