  • Implement facility maintenance policies and precedures in an efficient, cost-effefctive manner to safely meet residents' needs in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Implement monitoring systems for the maintenance department and make recommendations for implementation to assure compliance with requirements
  • Notify supervisor when supplies are needed
  • notify supervisor when equipment is in need of repair
  • notify supervisor when areas of the facility are in need of repair
  • possess understanding of general maintenance procedures
  • perform maintenance and repair procedures in accordance with facility policy
  • follow safety program
  • consistently work cooperatively with residents, residents' representatives, facility staff, physicians, consultants and ancillary  service providers
  • perform other related duties as directed by supervisor.
