We’re looking for an energetic Horticultural Technician to help care for and maintain beautiful houseplants! If you love working with tropical plants and love people this is the perfect job for you.
Duties
- Care for and propagate houseplants, including watering, pruning, and repotting.
- Monitor plant health, identify pests or diseases, and take action as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in plant care areas.
- Keep accurate records of plant care and maintenance routines.
- Collaborate with the team to create inviting, vibrant indoor plant displays.
Skills
- Knowledge of indoor plant care and propagation.
- Experience identifying and treating common houseplant issues.
- Hands-on experience with gardening tools and plant maintenance.
- Great attention to detail and a love for greenery.
Although we would prefer that you have 2 years of industry experience, we are willing to train the right candidate. You must have a willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed and a desire to contribute to our team culture with a joyful and proactive mindset. You must be able to lift 50 lbs. (bags of soil, large containers, and move products as needed). This is a full-time seasonal position with the possibility of career growth. Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
