What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cranberry Marsh Laborer position at Beaver Creek Cranberry, LLC?
Beaver Creek Cranberry, LLC is looking to hire 1 more full-time Cranberry Marsh Employee. Marsh is located north of Warrens, WI. Hired applicant will be based out of our Beaver Creek Cranberry marsh, but will also work at our sister marsh (J R Nemitz Cranberry) located 2 miles away as needed. The position will include a variety of tasks to maintain the marshes. Some of these include basic labor jobs, both agricultural and construction equipment operation, equipment maintenance, welding, and fabrication.
Experience in any of these areas is preferred, but we are willing to train any qualified applicant. A qualified applicant is a quality-focused person who takes pride in their work, enjoys learning new things, and wants to keep improving themselves. They are detail-oriented and organized. Ability to follow instructions and ask questions for clarity and/or uncertainty. Works well with others and is self-motivated to efficiently work on their own. Will occasionally need to lift 50 lbs repeatedly. A typical work week is 40 hours. Additional hours will be required during harvest.
There may be other seasonal hour changes. Inside and outside working environments. Will need to be prepared to work in all weather conditions. Wage is based on experience. Paid vacation and holiday time off are included. Must provide proof of valid drivers license. A great career for someone who likes variety in their work environment.
