Accountant/CPA

We are looking to hire an Accountant/CPA to review and analyze financial records for the businesses.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger maintenance
• Ensure accuracy in all financial transactions, including reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor accounts
• Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely reporting of financial statements
• Prepare journal entries, financial statements, and variance analysis to assist in strategic decision-making
• Manage fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and inventory accounting
• Prepare reports for management, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts
• Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Manage and mentor accounting assistant as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Accounts payable: 1 year (Required)
• Account reconciliation: 1 year (Required)
• Restaurant Accounting: 1 year (Preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field REQUIRED, CPA Preferred
• QuickBooks Experience (Required)
• Knowledge of accounting practices
• Ability to analyze data

• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams
• Advanced Excel skills and experience in financial reporting and analysis
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with restaurant inventory, and cost of goods management

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
