Beaver Toyota is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Warranty Clerk to support our growing service department. Responsibilities
- Process Warranty Claims – Submit and track all Southeast Toyota and third-party extended warranty claims (Fidelity, TWS, and others) promptly and accurately.
- Verify & Document Claims – Ensure proper documentation and compliance with manufacturer and distributor requirements.
- Reconcile & Balance Schedules – Match warranty receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting schedule and maintain an organized records system.
- Follow Up on Payments – Resubmit rejected claims, track outstanding claims, and follow up to ensure prompt resolution.
- Stay Updated on Recalls & Policies – Keep informed of factory recalls, technical service bulletins, and warranty policies to ensure accurate claim submissions.
- Assist with Additional Tasks – Support the Warranty Administrator and Service Manager with other clerical needs as required.
Qualifications
- Experience in warranty processing or service administration preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Reynolds and Reynolds (preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (required).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
