Guardian Rehab Expectations for Physical Therapists
As a Physical Therapist with Guardian Rehab, you will provide physical therapy assessment, services, direction, and care to patients in your region. You will evaluate the patient's home environment and functional status, and participate in the development of the total plan of care.
- Develop a treatment program and establish goals for patients improved function
- Teach patients new skills or re-train patients in once familiar daily activities that have been lost due to illness or injury, under organization policy
- Maintain and submit appropriate clinical records, notes, and reports to the physician regarding any changes in the patient's condition
- Licensed to practice as Physical Therapist
- Minimum of two (2) year of experience as an Physical Therapist
- A licensed driver with an automobile that is insured under state/or organization requirements and is in good working order
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PHYSICAL THERAPIST
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist (PT) therapy program - New grads welcome!
- Current state licensure
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Results-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Tech-savvy with the ability to learn quickly
