Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with meal preparation and service, adhering to food safety and handling guidelines.
- Ensure proper portioning and plating of meals for residents.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Work closely with the dietary and nursing staff to meet the dietary needs of residents.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, addressing any meal-related concerns or preferences.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care facility preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and handling regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Availability to work some weekends and holidays as needed.
