Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and cook meals in accordance with established menus, recipes, and portion control standards.
- Ensure food handling and safety protocols are strictly followed, including proper sanitation and cleanliness.
- Maintain food storage and inventory, adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Work with the dietary team to accommodate residents' special dietary needs and preferences.
- Maintain a safe and organized kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with other staff to deliver exceptional customer service and address residents' needs.
- Participate in menu planning and making suggestions for improvements when needed. Preferred Qualifications :
- Previous experience in a full-service kitchen or healthcare food service environment is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety, food handling, and nutrition.
- ServSafe certification is a plus.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with residents and team members effectively.
