What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forward Planning Manager Assistant position at Beazer Homes?
This role will provide support in early community planning stages, application submittals and contributes to a successful project outcome. Through assistance with scheduling and management teams of consultants, timely permit processing, this position is responsible for support of new communities from acquisition through commencement of land development, home construction and project close out.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Assists with contracting and scheduling consultants as needed, which may include civil engineers, environmental consultants, architects, structural engineers, landscape architects, utility consultants, land use attorneys, title company, surveyors, and HOA managers, etc.
- Assists with submittal preparations, processing and tracking of project entitlement approvals and necessary permits through governing agencies. Approvals might include rezoning, environmental permitting, tentative maps, design review, civil engineering plans, Final Maps and landscape plans.
- Responsible for managing all lot fit analysis, including any architectural changes.
- Assists with formation of special districts and reimbursement submittals
- Provides support with file management, plan orders for the field teams and necessary data entry
- Assists with due diligence efforts
- Assists with preparation for public meetings and hearings
- Assists with set up and initial management of Homeowner Associations; may be required to attend Homeowner Association meetings.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED is required
- At least 1-3 years of experience in construction, planning or land development
Skills & Abilities
- Exceptional communication and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in efficient and accurate manner
- Must be detail-oriented and a problem-solver
- Willingness to learn
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Position may require flexible work hours and limited local travel.

Additional Information
The California pay range for this position is from $90,000.00 to $100,000.00 annually. The exact rate of pay will be based on work location(s),position,and experience level. In no instance will Beazer Homes pay less than the minimum wage.
