We are looking for an Advanced Breast Imaging Technician to join our team.

As an Advanced Breast Imaging Technician, you will be responsible for assessing patients and performing advanced breast imaging procedures in accordance with prescribed radiation safety protocols.
You will work closely with our staff radiologists to achieve outstanding patient outcomes and serve as a clinical mentor for junior staff and students, sharing your knowledge and experience to help them grow and develop in their careers.
Key Responsibilities:
Verifies physician orders and procedures to ensure accuracy.
Uses radiology information systems to facilitate patient care.
Explains procedures to patients to ensure understanding.
Independently operates equipment to complete imaging procedures according to protocol.
Reviews patient images prior to transmission to ensure they meet diagnostic quality standards.
Completes timely quality control procedures in accordance with regulatory standards.
Assists in departmental operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and equipment maintenance.
Adapts behavior to specific patient populations, demonstrating respect for privacy and communicating effectively.
