Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients and perform advanced radiographic procedures
- Verify physician orders and procedures
- Use radiology information systems to facilitate care
- Review patient images prior to transmission
- Lead departmental programs and initiatives
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Completion of a radiologic technology program in an AMA-approved school
- 5 years of radiologic technologist experience
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Licensed by the Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally
- Strong interpersonal skills
Work Environment:
The incumbent works in a patient care area; works in an area where patients enter; works directly with patients; and/or works with specimens that could contain diseases.
