Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled equipment operator to join our team onshore and offshore. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining carousel systems, tensioners, and loading towers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain subsea cable lay systems, carousel systems, and loading towers to optimize cable installation processes.
- Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs to minimize downtime and ensure safe operations.
- Monitor equipment performance and resolve technical issues promptly to prevent delays.
- Collaborate with the project team and clients to ensure smooth operations and meet project deadlines.
Certifications:
- Electrical or mechanical education with electrical/hydraulic experience.
- OGUK Medical
- BOSIET with CA-EBS
- Seaman's Book
- Chester Step Test
- VCA or equivalent (SCC: Safety Certificate for Contractors)
- First Aid
Experience:
- At least 3 years' experience as an equipment operator of carousels and tensioners.
- Strong English communication skills.
- High safety awareness, problem-solving skills, and a hands-on attitude.
