As an integral part of our instructional support team, you will provide assistance to students in a classroom setting, working closely with teachers and other school staff to ensure the success of our students.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver instructional support to students in a variety of settings, including one-on-one and group instruction.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Prepare and distribute educational materials, including charts, flashcards, worksheets, and bulletin boards.
- Administer and score tests, and provide feedback to students.
- Supervise students during meals, recess, and field trips, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
- Certificate of Competency for Instructional Assistants and Aides.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other school staff.
- Ability to use technology and computer software applications appropriate to the work environment.
