About the Role:
We're seeking an experienced Construction Project Coordinator to lead and manage steel construction projects from initial planning through to execution and completion. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure adherence throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations, including AISC and AWS standards.
- Utilize project management tools to track project milestones and deliverables effectively.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the steel construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of steel fabrication processes and heavy steel erection.
- Familiarity with AISC and AWS standards.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Tekla.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
