Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement monthly menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents
- Cook and prepare meals in accordance with established recipes and guidelines
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and service
- Order and manage inventory of food and supplies, minimizing waste and excess
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in food service management, preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting
- Strong knowledge of nutrition, food safety, and sanitation practices
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to lead and motivate team members
- Food Sanitation certification required, Food Sanitation Manager Certification preferred
