Custodial Services Manager

Job Overview:

This role is responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and healthy environment for students and staff. The Custodian will perform various tasks to achieve this goal, including cleaning, maintenance, and repair.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, floors, and equipment.
2. Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures.
3. Emptying and maintaining trash receptacles and recycling bins.
4. Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and kitchens.
5. Maintaining grounds and exterior areas.
6. Performing minor repairs and submitting work orders as necessary.

Requirements and Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Experience in custodial work or a related field.
3. Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols.
4. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull at least 75 pounds.
5. Capacity to stand and walk, bend at the waist, twist, and turn for extended periods.
