**Job Overview**
We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
In this role, you will review behavioral health records electronically through a secure web portal and conduct comprehensive in-person assessments with each Veteran.
You will also complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the web portal. The Licensed Psychologist does not make disability determinations; the U.S. Veterans Administration makes all determinations using the findings recorded in the DBQs.
This position involves performing Disability Assessments on Veterans only, without treating or prescribing medication. You will assess an average of 4 Veterans per day.
**Requirements**
To be eligible for this role, you must have a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program/school and hold an active and unrestricted Psychology license.
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently as an Independent Contractor and commit to a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday (8am-5pm).
